Ron attends a HRASM Meeting on Employment Law

Ron Finelli attended the Human Resources of So Maryland Meeting on Wednesday May 15th. The meeting was focused on the legislative and regulatory updates for employment law practice

"I can see why the HR folks are so busy," says Ron. "You need to have a law degree to insure what your doing is correct! I have a lot of empathy for those who have to be making some of these calls."

The program was presented by Christine V. Walters, MAS, JD, SPHR. Her 25 years of experience shined as she described her personal experience as a witness for defense and how she testified for before US state and Congressional committees. There were approximately 60 Members in attendance that generated an array of good questions on everything from ADA, FMLA, to Social Media.
