Complete the Circle 2014

Sunday, 23 November 2014

On Sunday, November 9, more than one thousand community members came together at Fairfax High School in support of the 4th annual Complete the Circle FOODRaiser 2014. This family-oriented community service project and Food Drive was complete with face painting, live music, and featured a “living painting” composed of hundreds of community members dressed in event T-shirts who “colored” the image, which was then photographed from 80 feet above by artist Daniel Dancer of Art for the Sky.

Paxton supported the event lead by Our Daily Bread and Food for Others which ended with a final contribution of more than 8,300 pounds of food and a total of $15,300 worth of food, gift card and cash donations to help feed our struggling neighbors in the Fairfax County area. This is over 2,500 pounds more than last year and is nearly double the weight collected just 2 years ago! The annual FoodRaiser is gaining more momentum with each passing year. Thank you to those employees who helped Complete the Circle by bringing in food for donation and gift card contributions! Special thanks to the Paxton employees who volunteered their time to help make this drive a success including Danny Tran, Kevin Callahan, Laura Carretta, Tera Beatty and family and friends of Paxton.
