Congratulations to Paxton International’s Morgana Somers who was recently elected to the FIDI-35 Club Board. After a short but intense campaign leading up to the FIDI 2014 Congress in Singapore, Morgana was voted in as a member of the FIDI-35 Club Board to fill one of two vacant seats. She was joined by Alexandra Schmidt of Mexpack.
The FIDI-35 Club is a group for young professionals up to the age of 39 whose focus lies in creating networking opportunities and educating future generations about the logistics industry. The club campaigns against waste, sponsors causes around the world and raises money while encouraging members to work together, share experiences and commit to the future of the industry.
Morgana follows the path led by Freddy Paxton III who served on the 35 Club Board more than a decade ago. Freddy has since been elected to the FIDI board in 2011 where he holds the title of Vice President. Morgana has assumed the position of Director of Fundraising. This club allows members to be able to network and learn while still having fun. Service on the FIDI boards is another opportunity for Paxton to connect with members and colleagues to achieve some of our corporate goals: professional development, industry promotion and cultivating strong and lasting strategic partnerships. Please join us in congratulating Morgana for her achievement and enthusiasm to serve.
