International Day

Monday, 06 February 2012

Paxton International attended the 4th Annual International Washington Day celebration which was held at the Governor's Mansion on the Capitol Grounds in Olympia, WA to recognize the benefits of foreign direct investment in the state.

Governor Christine Gregoire spoke to a diverse group of business leaders, state planners, and prominent non-governmental organizations active in growing Washington's international connectedness. As the US state that has most benefited from and is most dependent on international trade, Washington's Governor applauded the farsighted efforts of community leaders in every district that realize that international trade is "our ticket out of the recession and what makes us known worldwide for products, innovation, and philanthropy."

Representing Paxton, Eric Klunder noted that 'international trade is essential to every US state but it is very meaningful for a Governor to give it top priority and welcome us into her home again to show her commitment to its growth." International connectedness enriches our communities in material and non-material ways and Paxton International takes pride in our contributions to the communities we serve.
