Paxton Sponsors 5th Annual Complete the Circle Event

Paxton Van Lines and Move for Hunger partnered with Our Daily Bread and the Lorton Community Action Center in the 5th Annual Complete the Circle Event and Food Raiser.

This year’s event, by far, had the greatest turn out yet! With well over one thousand community members coming together at Fairfax High School in support of the Event and Food Raiser for 2015 we collectively raised over 11,000 pounds of food and pantry donations along with $3,050 in grocery gift cards and cash donations to take a stand against hunger and help the struggling families of Fairfax County! Following the event, Paxton delivered truckloads of the donated food and supplies to the local pantry.

Thank you to all who made donations of food, gift cards and their time for this inspirational community event; including the numerous Paxton employees and their families who participated this year. Dedicated volunteers such as you make this event the success it is.

This family-oriented community service project and Food Drive was complete with face painting, live music, and featured a “living painting” composed of hundreds of community members who comprised the image.
