Leukemia/Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year

Sunday, 19 April 2015

Paxton’s David Stange, Director, Global Business Development was named a candidate for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year. The kick-off for this philanthropic 10-weekglobal fundraising campaign was held on April 9 in Nashville, Tennessee. In support of this effort, the Paxton Companies became a contributing sponsor of this fundraising event.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers like Hodgkin disease and melanoma. Their mission also helps to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. LLS was established in 1949. As a result of ongoing research, overall survival rates for leukemia have tripled in the last 40 years. LLS is dedicated to being one of the top-rated voluntary health agencies in terms of dollars that directly fund the mission. In 2014, The LLS Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY)campaign raised over $30.8 million.

This is an organization that is doing the right things with the dollars it raises. David is proud to be associated with LLS and is dedicated to his fundraising campaign in the coming weeks.
